Distance Covered:

Sailed at Hove. Launched before noon with a 5.5m on freestyle board. Good for half hour or so, but at first opportunity changed down to 5m and that was on the money for the rest of the session. I really enjoyed the conditions, sunny and little wavelets to hunt down and the board was a joy. Most times you could let a set go through, sail out for 20 seconds more, gybe and then catch the set again only as it hit the beach, arriving (hopefully) with full speed on the front of a squall.
